Our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems

PwC Taiwan is a member of the PwC network of firms in 152 countries, with over 328,000 people who are committed to delivering quality in assurance, tax and advisory services.

PwC China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan joined forces and formed a regional organisation, jointly known as “CaTSH”, in 2010. We work together in collaboration and share resources as well as talent pools. PwC Taiwan also operates in Shanghai, providing localized services to businesses from Taiwan.

Nowadays clients need a professional service portfolio that is cross-border and more comprehensive. Responding to this need, PwC formed PwC Asia Pacific, which includes Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and other territories. The New Equation: Build trust and deliver sustained outcomes

PwC unveiled its new global network strategy The New Equation, in 2021, which responds to fundamental changes in the world, including technological disruption, climate change, fractured geopolitics, and the continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The new strategy aims to help clients build trust and deliver sustained outcomes. The New Equation is a fresh approach to our brand: “PwC is a community of solvers. We combine human ingenuity, experience, and technology innovation to deliver sustained outcomes and build trust.” The New Equation focuses on two interconnected needs that clients face in the coming years: to build trust and to deliver sustained outcomes.

PwC’s approach to building trust is designed to meet rising expectations of transparency and stakeholder engagement. It recognises the importance of quality and that reporting and compliance are just one link in a chain that includes organisational culture, executive mindset, aligned standards, certified professionals, stringent controls, tailored technologies, and appropriate governance. Similarly, delivering sustained outcomes requires an integrated approach. Instead of a traditional technology-driven approach to transformation, PwC’s approach is focused on the outcome. The firm mobilises expertise in strategy, digital and cloud services, value creation, people and organisation, tax, ESG, deals, business recovery services, legal and compliance, amongst other areas to deliver the sustained outcomes.

The general public has increasingly higher expectations for businesses in terms of addressing social issues, such as pandemic, climate change, social injustice or digital divide. Our new strategy aims to assist our clients with tackling the toughest challenges, help them contribute to society and the planet. Our professionals are highly experienced in multiple fields and can help clients deliver sustained outcomes in the areas of financial performance, risk management, innovation and growth momentum, talent and generational transition, digital transformation, ESG issues, mergers and acquisitions, tax governance.
